The picture shows the story as written in Daniels hand on the back of the canvas, which also has drawings.
“This is a Story from Lumbner Cattle Station but before it was The Station it was called The Seven Emu Water Hole in The Rainbow Valley. The Story goes the that someone saw seven emu come to drink water and all the men waited around the main water hole to catch the emu but the emu went to the other little waterhole”.
